Sunriver, Oregon Electrician
Electrical work for full-time homes, second homes & vacation rentals
Sunriver runs on its own rhythm. Many homes here are second homes or short-term rentals, a lot of owners live out of town, and a good share of the housing dates back to Sunriver's early decades. That mix creates its own kind of electrical work: hot tubs that run hard all year, older panels carrying a modern load, outdoor lighting under resort-community rules, and problems that need fixing before the next check-in — often while the owner is hundreds of miles away.
Spas are the big one. Nearly every rental in Sunriver has a hot tub, and it's the amenity guests book for. We handle hot tub wiring and spa electrical from new 50-amp circuits to diagnosing the GFCI trips that come with age, freeze-thaw, and heavy use. When a bigger tub, a heat pump, or an EV charger for guests pushes past what the original service can carry, we do the 200-amp panel upgrade too.
Winter storms take Sunriver's power out like anywhere else in the forest. A standby generator keeps the heat on and the pipes from freezing in an empty house, and when something does go wrong our 24/7 emergency electricians answer the phone — for you or for your property manager.
We're based in Bend, about 25 minutes north. We know the Deschutes County permit process, we coordinate with Midstate Electric Cooperative, and we'll help you through SROA design review when the work shows on the outside of the house.
